Role PurposeAs a lead developer, you will:
- Contribute to overall product vision and scope.
- Manage a team of developers.
- Set costs and schedules for your team's feature areas.
- Staff and motivate your team.
- Work with your peers in the development, test and program management disciplines to see new features through from inception to release.
You will have the opportunity to work at a rapid pace, shipping major new functionality.
Your work will not only impact millions of Xbox LIVE users throughout Europe, but you will develop a deep understanding of the core components of the Xbox 360 Console and Xbox Live Service platforms.

We are the product development studio in London behind the announcements that Sky and Canal+ are coming to Xbox LIVE. With those partnerships, we're bringing both on demand and live video to Xbox LIVE, including innovative ways to experience football with interactive stats and the ability to chat with your friends in a 3D stadium environment using your Xbox Avatar.
Key Success CriteriaOur team is focused on creating compelling products for the local vibrancy of European markets and we're just getting started. Over the coming years, this team will take entertainment to a new level with innovative new ways to experience your favourite activities with your friends, and will usher in a new era with the game-changing Project Natal.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience1. Essential Experience
- Relevant experience of directly managing developers.
- Ability to break down complex problems into simple concepts and prioritize work to minimize risk.
- Demonstrated ability to cost, schedule, and ship quality software solutions on time.
- Passion about gaming and online entertainment.
2. Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong experience of software development experience and knowledge of C/C++.
- Experience with several of the following: web services, user interface programming, networking, game development, operating systems, Win32.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to apply software engineering principles.
3. Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
4. Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Special Requirements/Additional Information e.g. Language Skills.
